I bought one new in the same colour last year in May for $2050, including reg and some other frills.
Your selling price is too high. Need to sell fast then it's $1600

$2k for a moto with 50s technology!?
Crazy.
Suzuki, Yamaha and even Bajaj are much cheaper and come with things like disc brakes, oil filters (yes, it’s true), and modern engine design.
It’s true that the Dreams are reliable but the price is nuts.

pew, pew, pew, pew!
Dreams are NOT reliable. I had a 2019 that has been to the dealer twice now for issues with the motor. I know i got a bad bike but i hate the bloody thing now.
That being said i sold it for $1900 but it only had 3100 km.

Let's assume this Dream can drive 80k km before being worn off. You did nearly 10k, and those were the cheapest kms because no maintenance was needed yet.
That's over 10% of the mileage it can do in its' lifetime. Yet you only take 5% of the original price.
No chance.

When I used to work for an NGO in ratanakiri they provided me with a Dream with 35k on the clock. One day on a bumpy road the frame of the motorbike tore and simply bended open, only still attached by a small piece of metal. The bike came to a stop with the engine touching the ground. So much for the reliability of the Dream.
The NGO had it fixed by welding two metal plates to the tear.

Out of curiosity, what is the approximate value of a 1 year old scoopy with 5k on the clock?
