I'll give you one of those $2 bills for 'em?
They are currently selling $17- 23 depending on where you get them. If real.
20$ seems fair then...
Didn't Glen Campbell have a silver $ tucked inside his shoe.... And a token too....

I had a $20 gold coin. St Gaudens or something. Sold it for £800, it was for the gold content not as a coin.
My mum bought gold and silver coin ssets from the Canadian Mint every year from 1950 something til 2000...
The mint put extra weight into the stamping process and the coins came wrapped in plastic and/or nice red boxes.....

Silver is currently selling for about $15 per ounce. They're worth no more than their value as a commodity.

25.00 per coin is a fair price for them, that is about what they are going for from reputable online dealers. You are always going to pay a premium over spot for any minted coin, as it cost more to mint a coin than it does to produce a silver bar. Additionally U.S. Silver Eagles command a premium above that because they are a U.S. minted coin, and they are the most recognized silver coin in the world. I buy them all the time and you pay a premium when you buy them, and you get a premium over spot when you sell them.

60 percent is not a reasonable premium. The current asking price for these particular coins is $20-$21 tops.

That website showing the bid price to be 21.67
I went to moderncoinmart and apmex, which are two large online retailers I use, and I can't find any silver eagle for less than 25.00 on their websites. Paying 25.00 per coin here seems fair value to me. It may be your opinion that Eagles should not carry such a premium, but they do.
