Just used up the last of my Italian basil seeds.... My supplier is stuck in New Zealand.....Anyone know where to buy Italian basil seeds in Phnom Penh?
None at Orussay Market.
Thanks.

Have you tried Aeon supermarket? They seemed to have a decent selection of seeds when I was there yesterday; unfortunately I can't say whether that included Italian basil
Thanks..... Will give it a shot.... Have only been there once in all these years.
500 reil a bunch. north west corner of orussey pn the pavements on the streets perimeter outside
they taste different when grown from seed to when grown from cuttings?
Are you sure that is Italian and not a variety of Thai basil?
My eyes aren't good enough for that photo.

in your questhouse room, cut the empty water bottle in half the you can use either half. open the packet of ready made noodles and put them in a half bottle. extract the flavour sachets and open them into the noodles. add cold water then add cut uo pieces of the mix herb bunch above, stirr eat. i use just cold water.
cut the herbs from the top end then put the remainder in a waterbottle half in the bathroom for use next time . one bunch of hebs can last about a week at least,
you can also add those lime things if u want, thai fish sauce, etc to your taste.
fairly certain its thai basil in the photo.

have seen those italian ones pictured about the place but cant recall where. didnt buy/try them because i saw them as imposters/not the real basil lol
but anyhow the thai basil sprouts roots real quick and can be grown, cant you do that with the italian ones?

Thanks for the pointers and nice to see you are living up to your name!
I am also growing Thai basil which I prefer in stir fries......
The Italian I grow is for restaurants who mainly use it on margarita puzzas.

cant say i would like to compete with khmers in the growing stuff department.
perhaps outsource that part. the herb bunch above is always top quality, fresh, insect damage free. i also think that it is hydroponic grown due to total absence of any traces of soil, askum perhaps they would grow some of your requirements too
