Background.
So far, all variants of Sars CoV2 have been much safer for small kids than adults. They get sick only rarely and, evidence shows, are very ineffective vectors for the virus. New strains seem more transmissive for all ages, but rates for small kids, so far, still seem much less than for adults. Thus I think, that Cambodian nurseries following rules are quite a bit safer than most typical neighbourhoods. (So no point in explicit names here.)
But, surprised to just read in the esteemed Khmer Times, “We have now had the nursery going since September last year, following government rules, of course."
Does anyone know, are Nurseries allowed to run in Cambodia at the moment? Are they not under the blanket restrictions MoYES announced in March 2021?
Or, is it OK for Nurseries, but not for Nursery Schools?
Nursery Schools allowed to open?
Probably not. Is it onsite or online? The article doesn't seem to specify but it they're following govt rules then it's online and thus fine operate.
