I'm shocked. Most of us need at least a bottle and a half at lunchtime, clearly you had better training in the antipodes...arthur84 wrote:
PPS. I find drinking half a bottle of whiskey in the morning ,whilst having a shower, is the perfect way to start my working day.
PPPS. Another tip, finish the other half during your lunchtime that should see you through until you get home!

to the OP...
whose only aim is to win the throw the sticky ball at the whiteboard game...?!!, crazy schedule, not
enough hours during the week, and all day on Saturday, no consecutive days off...no paid vacations...
(that's cram schools for you...)
Not to mention a money hungry boss....although, having said that, I did enjoy the food an climate.
Japan was great, not that easy to save but, what great place...
Currently in Korea, shitty food, seriously deranged management (AND this is public school), Xenophobic people...
On the other hand, I can walk out of here with 25k...
This is my 8th year of teaching English, I've done 3 countries now, I'm tired of teaching (here). And yes, I have a BA an an
qualified to teach in my native country...
At the end of the day, teaching is hard work in ANY country....most of my hassles come from management...
I tend not to let it bother me anymore....
guess it depends where you work, I found Taipei, really difficult. Teaching little kids,Taiwan (good place to teach)

hello, I've read your memoirs of teaching in Cambodia and wonder about that environment of teaching. But to be more direct I've seen only your view on some school. So I've been meaning to ask your views about Western international school, What do you think? Does it have a good teaching quality? overall quality?
