For Sovannaphumi go to their head office. It's on st 200 just behind American Pacific.

I would go to all their branches. The communication between the head office of most schools here and their branches is a joke.

Speak to the highest up white person you see or the Khmer with the biggest office, and try to improve your punctuation , I thought I was bad.

Well i ended up getting a job with west line for 11 an hour but after we had agreed they said i would have to pay tax they said around 10 percent is that a rip off? Also they said i had to pay for my own work permit which is a bit shit. I am teaching young learner 2 does anybody have experience with this school?
So, you are going to work your first 2 weeks just to pay off your work permit and visa? Why do you want to TEFL in Phnom Penh?

10% is correct for monthly gross income between ~ $300 - $2100 USD per month.
They *should* pay for your work permit, but seems most schools won't.

The wording in the Labour Law states that ' The employer is responsible.'epidemiks wrote:They *should* pay for your work permit, but seems most schools won't.
Lots of wriggle-room. responsible for what? Assisting? Payment?
(That's never happened in Cambodia, before, btw)
