What is the best school now hiring?
(Yes, I know contacting them school, by school, preferably in person, is the way it is normally done.)
Anyone know if ISPP, Northbridge, or other 'international schools', in PP or even Siem Reap, are currently seeking teaching or expat admin staff? ACE?
I've done IELTS examining and teaching in a variety of countries, but obviously if I'm asking this on this forum I'm not exceedingly fussy.

I don't really know much about schools in Siem Reap. Is this, ISSR, one of the top schools there? THE top?
Thanks.
Thanks.

There are two International Schools, both offering IGCSEs & A Levels.
The one posted above is one of them.

Thanks Springrain, qualifications offered is a pretty good was to judge quality.
I know JayPritzger (SP?) is a very different type of school, and more USA focused, but how would you slot them into the Siem Reap hierarchy? (Yes, and they are maybe 10km past the airport, so not near city centre.)

To be perfectly honest, I'd never heard of them until you mentioned their name.
A quick glance at their website and they look quite impressive - lovely campus, well-equipped classrooms and labs. The curriculum looks okay, but I don't know whether it's IB accredited or some other accreditation board.
Unfortunately, they don't appear to have any current openings for teaching staff.

ISSR offered me $1,500 a month flat and I have a Masters in Education from a reputable university in California,a state teaching license and 20 yrs teaching and administration experience. Good luck, saving anything on that salary.
Hey don’t sneer. That’s a kings ransom to many tefler in Cambodia.
I am almost hear Vladimir creaming himself and rushing to get out the rusty Remington to redo his cv.

That information doesn't surprise me. That school's always been a rip-off.
It pays lower salaries than most of its competitors, but charges the highest fees in Siem Reap.
(I am not including JPA in that statement because I couldn't find any info about fees on their website.)

Not sure JPA charges anything. It is mostly a rich family's experiment to see what can happen if bright poor kids are given a great education. A small handful of other schools in Cambodia do similar in other target segments.
Like Khantha Bopha in Health, it is only "sustainable' as long as big bucks keep flowing in, but for the founder folks, who are not poor like Angelina, it is closer to pocket change. Nevertheless, as far as I can tell, they are mostly wonderful intentioned projects that have some great successes. Do Mr. Buffet, Mr. Gates, and etc., etc., get an ego boost from their charity work, of course. But certainly those charities do a lot of good.
If I won a billion, or even half, I'm sure I'd try a similar school too. Wouldn't you?

AIS in PP is looking for a Humanities teacher, I hear
Best paying school in the country, my friend tells me
Best paying school in the country, my friend tells me
I had a look at the AIS Cambodia Website. It's was in Khmer like all the staff appears to be. If they do pay the most to western teachers,I wonder how all the Khmer staff will take it? Again I only saw. Khmer staff members, not even a white golden boy principal.
Thanks. I'll take a look. If it's high school, grades 10,11,12, that sounds kinda fun!

I've just seen this school advertising again, with a poster stuck on the entrance to Angkor Market on Road 6.
This suggests they are getting desperate, what with the second term AY 20/21 just getting underway.
A good time for a worthwhile teacher to stick to his/her guns and demand a reasonable salary, I'd suggest.
