PM, seemingly following up on a KT article a day earlier, repeats that "kindergartens with pupils aged three and four should not be reopened because that age group has not yet been inoculated." (Paraphrased in KT 23 Nov.)
Sovanaphum and several other private schools with pre-grade 1 classes were still running kindergartens when the KT checked 21 Nov., contrary to a rule by the PP head of education.
Now, these few lines from the PM during yesterday's bridge ribbon cutting speech, will (?) close all pre-schools/nursery schools nationwide. Certainly it will be enforced in PP if the pre-school is a small part of a large institution. But if the 3-5 year olds aren't 'students', because it isn't a formal school, can they stay open?
I know a Christian group running free 'supplementary" classes (not religious linked they advertise) that includes all age groups. As far as I know, (but I have no inside info), they are not licensed by the POE/MoEYS. Since they are not a school. Can they continue running small kid groups?
(I believe they stopped all in-person large groups during the shut-downs, but I guess it was under Min. of Culture and Religion, not MoEYS.)
Babysitting, OK. Teaching, no way.
