Intercon is very nice...and never crowded. Take money.
The one next to Western School in Tuol Kork, long beach Plaza or something is large, good for laps, seldom crowded. Just wait for your hair to turn green from the chlorine, like that German lady from New World years back. Cheap, too, about $1/pop

ירי ילדים והפצצת אזרחים דורש אומץ, כמו גם הטרדה מינית של עובדי ההוראה.
I belonged to le royal for a month years ago.
I think I will rejoin when i come back, and buy a mountain bike.I cant be unfit ever again,it makes work an ordeal.
Mind you i can keep up with the youngsters, its just really hard work doing so.

There's a gym on St 348 near the corner of St 199 (that's behind Olympic Market, opposite Tuol Svay Prey High School) called Vattanac Club. It's got all those simple sort of bars, and loads of more advanced, modern sort of machines (power lines, cross-over machines, running machines, cycling machines etc), and it's only 2000 riel per session.half 'Bode wrote:The best value gym is the Cambodian Weightlifting Club gym which is on the far side of the Olympic stadium near the pool, 2000 riel for foreigners open from 0400 - 1900 every day (can't confirm the opening time but that's what I was told). They have bars with rotating sleeves, squat rack, cushioned area and bumper plates for olympic lifts. Its also dirty as hell and somewhat unsafe which seems to be the standard for gyms in this price range. You also need to provide your own equipment to include collars for the bars.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

Dom Bosco hotel school in Sihanoukville has an excellent new gym in a beautiful manicured gardens with pool. A real 5 star place and the best part~FREE!
Just talk to Peter who runs the place and he will OK it. He just wants people to buy drinks/meals in restaurant every now and again.
Please support this GREAT cause as 100% of money goes to training disadvantaged poor kids and orphans in the area! Couldn't be better!
Its on the way to Otres beach on Omnui street

The best gym is your own back yard, or room. Buy a set of lifting weights and USE THEM. First thing in the morning, get out of bed and get into the habit of doing a few lifts and gradually build up from there. If you cannot sleep at night ?????? get up and do some exercise. Secondly, how often have you walked from Takhmao to PP. It's only 12 km and I have done it many times, plus an extra km.infinitus wrote:Anything near Tao Khmao? ( 20 min south of PP city )

One other thing to think about is how many people put good quality fuel and oil into their moto/cars and yet they put second quality [ fuel ] food and drink into their body. I can understand if people put second grade fuel into their moto/car as they can easily replace them, but you only have one body and it should last you for 100 years.
Paddy's Gym relocated to Number 63 Street 294 (next door to Mt Everest) in Boeung Keng Kang district. Website now says:
"It's boxing and kickboxing only. The weight room is gone."
Too bad, I liked the old Paddy's in all it's non-airconditioned glory and where else in the world are you going to have the moto freelance taxi driver that took you there join you for a session in the gym and give you tips.

www.prokout.com is a new gym just behind aeon mall, have weights, kettlebells, cross fit, kun Khmer, bjj, mma boxing zumba etc. Went last night not totally up and running yet as it's brand new build, seems pretty good though.
I was a dummy in school.

That's more pricey than the place and it doesn't have a pool.3KI wrote:http://www.prokout.com is a new gym just behind aeon mall, have weights, kettlebells, cross fit, kun Khmer, bjj, mma boxing zumba etc. Went last night not totally up and running yet as it's brand new build, seems pretty good though.

For $89 per month at Prokout you'll get gym and fight training. Why do you need a swimming pool? They don't have water wrestling. Otherwise if you just want to pump yourself then it's $39 per month.
