Can we get a definitive list of Westerner bars/restaurants permanently closed during COVID times?

I walked past Riverside Bistro last month and there was handwritten sign on one door which read "Business partners wanted".

Looks like Flavours on st.51 has also gone?

Flavours had a nice location at least, a client had me meet them over there religiously.

I'll give you the final waitress wasn't the best at English or all too bright versus her predecesors who were superb, but the kitchen was good, value was excellent, and it made a pleasant change to sit outside on a corner watching the world go by rather than being stuck in an aircon restaurant blowing out -16c & that godawful echo only Khmer town house restaurants can provide!

No surprise really. Steve is old and lives in the past. His Steakhouse was depressing and empty. He's also a ragging control freak, but he'd be the first to admit it. That place needs new blood. Does he still own Freebird?
Numbnuts all grown up
Viva, Mexican restaurant on riverside is the latest victim of closure. Shame, liked that place.
Never thought that place would be a victim.Jonno wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 8:31 pmViva, Mexican restaurant on riverside is the latest victim of closure. Shame, liked that place.
Food was nothing spectacular, loved the taquitos and margaritas though.

They are planning to reopen but recent issues with COVID etc have delayed it.Srey Bourque wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 3:03 pmIs Buffalo Sister still closed? their FB page says closed for renovation in October and no update as to a re-opening.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Are there any definitive guidelines on cafes and bars? I see some seem to open and other similar ones closed. It seems pretty arbitrary - is it pretty much left to the owners’ discretion?

wow.
often went there with a group of ex-sihanoukville friends.
Indeed, food was not spectacular but good drinks and a very good value destination.
Note to self: Must be nice to morons.

Viva. Pity.
Flavours. Pity.
Neither were favourites but both served their very different purposes over the years.
At least now the bar manager who somehow knew my ex-wife won't have a confused look on his face when I keep turning up with a new partner.

Did Viva close-close or are they just changing locations? Their Siem Reap location is still open and taking orders. Could it be that the lease expired, landlord didn't renew and they are just changing locations?
Their Margarita deals are tough to beat but Lone Pine is up there.
