Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
I have chicken and mushroom pie beans and chips three times a day. It keeps me very regular.

About 8 months ago I cooked and pickled a 1.2kg Octopus which I progressively ate somewhere between the 6 to 10 week mark and thought it was all gone.
Today in the dark recess of my fridge I found a jar of said Octopus which had been overlooked.
Wow, the taste was sensational.

I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

A single tomato cut into 4 pieces with a dash of salt washed down with cracked white mug of liptons. 0 sugars. I think its the third time I've used the bag now.

On my way back from the beach, I bought 500 grams of living clams in the fishing village and fried them with a lot of basil, three cloves of minced garlic, a minced chili pepper, some fresh black pepper, some water to make soup, a generous splash of fish sauce along with a dash of soya sauce... And a bowl of steamed rice... Really delicious...
Total cost, including basil, chili, garlic and rice -- about U.S. $ 1.75... (Prices have gone up a bit on seafood...)

As all restaurants here had to close again, thanks to Covid, it is back to the pots again. One-pot chicken with quinoa and olives.
