A bit pricey but yummy
Where are the mushy peas? Tartare sauce? Vinegar?
There was tartare sauce but my indulgence for British food goes only so far. Mushy peas and vinegar on chips are an abomination. I took mayo, like any self respecting foodie.

Heathen!

I reckon a dill and mint mayo would work well.

On that topic - Villa Grange was advertising these Great British classics recently.

Fish & chips.

Good old full English breakfast.

Anyway, they probably taste great but I was a bit surprised by the presentation. I'm not a fan of "crossed swords". 8-)

Marks and Spencer Welsh lamb 'steaks', that I smuggled back Tuesday. Absolutely delicious. So much better than the lamb available here.

Yes the plating is a bit retarded, or do I mean pretentious? Both actually. Food looks good but what are those two piles of pale yellow stuff at the top and bottom of the plate? Almost looks like mashed potatoes.

I just opened a can of chickpeas and added some thinly sliced onion, chopped fresh chillies, fish sauce and a squeeze of lime.

Voila. Uno perfecto. A spicy chickpea salad.....and it's only 11:49 am.
