Sunday Buffet at The Exchange
I went once and we had no complaints with the service. Got our drinks and dessert.
Who says Mormon's don't spend money on Sundays? Although it is a carvery, the meat is served by the staff as are the drinks. Just giving a review and an opinion, that's all. The food was average, the meat servings were miniscule and the service was poor. That's it, end of post.
I'm starting to recognition the IP address of a few Teaching Establishments, the Free internet offered by the eating establishments near them and the internet cafe's. Match this up with that fact you guys are rather keen on talking about where you have worked or are currently working.gavinmac wrote:Not uncommon. Internet cafes, posts using cell phones, etc. The post that you just made shows an IP address shared by about 100 other posters.cambod wrote:
So, we now have 3 posters using the same computer? Hmmm...
I'm not commenting on the current poster - however the sock puppets that have been flourishing in the past 7-10 days are somewhat numbered.
I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

Fucken Hell,
Just as I was about to log out there was a knock on my door.
A rather plump white lass, in her early twenties and carries a slight USA twang to her voice is standing at my door.
Has my luck just changed I ask myself ??
So I walk to the door and say hello - how can I help you.
She attempts to hand me a pamphlet about the mormon church.
Her actions were somewhat hampered by the fact I had not opened the security screen door at this stage.
She gets somewhat confused so I simply advise her I not interested and she apologizes and walks away.
Mormoms - gotta love em !

Why is it my fault. There wasn't enough meat available to satisfy a decent appetite.

Maybe the service staff are knowledgeable and sensitive and are perfectly aware that you cannot imbibe satanic refreshments, like tea.Mormon wrote: I was not offered a free drink which I thought was part of the buffet deal. I may be wrong on that point.
I came, I argued, I'm out
I am allowed caffeine free drinks, obviously no alcohol. I don't wear my badge away from my missionary work, so I am pretty sure they wouldn't guess my religious beliefs. Although I am smartly dressed and respectful!andyinasia wrote:Maybe the service staff are knowledgeable and sensitive and are perfectly aware that you cannot imbibe satanic refreshments, like tea.Mormon wrote: I was not offered a free drink which I thought was part of the buffet deal. That's like complaining the salad had too much dressing at Pizza Company when you made it yourself!
How can you eat something that isn't there to eat?cambod wrote:Because it's ALL YOU CAN EAT! ! ! ! !Mormon wrote:Why is it my fault. There wasn't enough meat available to satisfy a decent appetite.cambod wrote:That's YOUR fault.Mormon wrote: the meat servings were miniscule

So, now you are staying they ran out of food?
There is a huge difference. Is English your first language?
As an example, the serving member of staff managed to get two servings from a chicken wing! Is English your first language? I am stating that if I had taken what meat was available, then yes, the meat would have been finished. Are you the owner or are you in anyway associated with the establishment? Anyway, the matter is closed now. Many thanks for your observations and for taking the time to read my post. God bless you.
Never mind the buffet, I ate there recently and ordered a bottle of red only to discover that it was warm...............really warm! Now a place like the Exchange I would have imagined to have a proper temperature-controlled cabinet for their wines and then to have your wine served in either an ice bucket or some kind of tight fitting material to prevent it from getting too warm seeing as there's all that moving air in there. So, our decent bottle of plonk ended up being a complete fucking pain in the arse to drink and not all that pleasant because you were constantly having to put an ice cube into it to get the temp right and then quaff it quick as fuck before the ice diluted its taste. The service was excellent and the food outstanding as ever. I wish I could say the same about the company. :-I
