Congratulations Scobie on achieving the coveted green status.

Hula hell do you think you are changing the thread?scobienz wrote: Hawaiian?
Excuse me.
This is a thread about pizzas, not pineapples.
My posts are just jokes, maybe they're rude, offensive, and politically incorrect. They're not my opinion, viewpoint, idea, or judgement, but they're just fucking jokes so lighten up.
It gets worse - Tom Yun Kung' pizza replete with lemongrass flavours , Thai chillies, coconut scrapings and prawns. Food pornography?scobienz wrote:Iridesce wrote:Gonna have to chime in for Pizza 5's Hawaiian. The only slip up being the driver at times--though usually arrives nice and hot. $5 for the large thin.
Limoncello's Lasagna was strangely colored, but good. Not great, but good.
Brooklyn's is on the list.

Pizza al porno?
Larry's is getting a lot of unwarranted publicity out of this thread. The pizza is far far far from the best in town. It's on the same level as a bunch of Khmer pizza places around town

We regret to inform you that your opinion has been invalidated due to a stated preference for pineapple on a pizza. This offends the pizza gods. Make sure you stay indoors during thunderstorms.Iridesce wrote:Gonna have to chime in for Pizza 5's Hawaiian. Hahahaha! Maybe this one went over the heads of our old world friends but I liked it.
For the record I do like scobz online and in person, even if the watch winding incident reeked of Bono / Sinead O'Connor / Bob Geldof / Roger Waters esk pretention.
BTW I realized after the fact there is an Irish theme there - Waters aside.
Haha - my money’s on Playboy

A couple of places that don't get a mention and deserve to are Digby's on St.63 and Aria D'Italia on St.310.
Digby's have an expensive Woodstone oven ..... never seen one anywhere before.

Would give a +1 to Aria D'Italia also.

I am predominantly a purist, Hawaiian being the single exception.Jacked Camry wrote:We regret to inform you that your opinion has been invalidated due to a stated preference for pineapple on a pizza. It's been one of my favourites for a few months now. Let us know what you think once you've tried.jm wrote:Yet to try. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but that last statement is just ludicrous, IN MY OPINION. You clearly prefer Italian style pizza to American style, and there is nothing wrong with that, but it is starting to sound as if you either have a grudge against Larry or just can't stand it when people don't agree with you.Seller wrote:Larry's is getting a lot of unwarranted publicity out of this thread. All of the above ...you either have a grudge against Larry or just can't stand it when people don't agree with you.
Tried Larry's pizza a few days ago. Don't know if they're the "best in PP" as indeed there is no such thing but it was pretty good.
The pizza van on st51 remains my favourite for the sheer price/quality ratio. I probably eat there late at night a couple times a week, whenever I've got the munchies after bringing the GF back home.
Alas the boss/owner seems to have delegated the post to another guy who's a bit less on the ball, and who tried to short change a friend last night (actually this morning), giving back the change for a tenner when he'd got a 20.
Brooklyn won't disappoint either, but it's on the pricey side even compared to Larry's.
I never had the pizza at da Luigi but in no hurry to try as I had a couple of disappointing other meals there, small portions and desserts unworthy of an italian restaurant (avoid the overpriced tiramisu, it's a rip off)
