A new addition is about to appear from SHV. I’ve always like stopping into Olive & Olive down there, and think this will be a hit.

It would seem that this Olive place is being build upon the grave of Hooters Phnom Penh πŸ‘

Not cheap at all.

Plus the refit of the partial-fit of the near-total demolition looks to be costing a small fortune 😲

There were a couple of Tuk Tuks with their Ads parked on St104 yesterday morning - not sure how premature that is as it looked like they had a lot of construction, not too mention fit out, to do before they can open

Olive & Olive opened a few days ago and have been getting good reviews. I'm glad someone sorted out that corner, it was gutted a few years ago by "Hooters" and was an eyesore since. I'll check it out for lunch sometime.

Not going to name the PP riverside establishment , but its name has something to do with this singer Image and also with the largest mammal living on land. Spent a full day on the loo, Should perhaps have ordered a happy one, But i didn't. It was a real unhappy one...

Lol, you didn't always think that.

You posted this just 5 months ago under the Best Pizza in Phnom Penh thread.

Pizza Matteo, Rustic
Just because you're a reformed sweaty fat-fuck, doesn't mean you get to piss on the rest of us who have self control and can enjoy the occasional slice.

Yes, you're right. I've totally gone off it. Give me fresh salmon/fish, olives, feta and jalapenos.

In addition, since I no longer eat pizza I am also not allowed to tell people where they can find it.

woosh's principles of logic 101

That sounds like an interesting pizza - where can I find it?

Let's not forget that Vlad's idea of fine dining is a hollowed out loaf of cheap bread filled with curry.

Thank you, good to see I'm even reaching the servile ones.

Bunny chow is good, cheap street food, not expensive or generally considered as fine dining, but still better than anything bland the Brits have to offer. They colonised the world to find better weather and food.

Your idea of fine motoring is that rusted up piece of junk you drove for so long. It was cheap, practical, yet it worked, yes?

So whence come the double standards?

And whence the beef? I suspect from the same clown who pointed out you and your rust-trap to me years ago.

My idea of fine dining, for the record, is any really tasty meal with decent people. Can you contest that?

Your idea of ' fine dining', I think, centers around cost and location, and multiple FaceBook and forum posts to disseminate just how clever you must be to spend so much. Meh. Tell us about your new expensive car, your job, blah blah blah.

Fact versus appearances, it seems. I'll stick with my values, thank you very much. You carry on trying to impress ' the right' people.

And they say Asians are obsessed with appearances.

1. Makro, 1kg fresh salmon, under $20

2. Feta cheese, 1 & 1 on St 271, about $4.20

3. Jalapenos or olives, also 1&1, about $2.50

Great on pizza or tortillas, serve with chili to taste or Tabasco Chipotle flavouring.
