Rugby players...
The flaw in these articles is that they are written by England players. For reasons of diplomacy I didn't mention above the name of the country who fails to teach the not cheating module. Do I really need to spell it out?
Was it South Africa? Or Wales? Or New Zealand, or Argentina? Or Australia, or England?

It's hard to tell from this litany of eye-gouging, ear-biting, penis-biting incidents from the only game in the world that is played with dignity, honour and mutual respect.

Old joke but once your heard one english rugby joke, you've seen a maul.
My posts are just jokes, maybe they're rude, offensive, and politically incorrect. They're not my opinion, viewpoint, idea, or judgement, but they're just fucking jokes so lighten up.
England of course.scobienz wrote:Was it South Africa? Or Wales? Or New Zealand, or Argentina? Or Australia, or England?

Once upon a time, sport was clean. Then some chaps at Rugby School decided to run the ball over the line; another chap by the name of WG Grace decided to plonk the bails back on, make some comment about Mr Clever Cloggs bowler not being as popular as WG and proceeded to carry on batting; Mr IT Botham decided he wasn't going to be sooo English any more and thought it might be a good idea to follow the Australians in trying to smash the opponents into orbit; then came the 'great' Ben Johnson: he of wide eyes and even wider morals about drug-enhanced performances. And so on ...
Sport should be a wonderful thing; but, like everything else, it has become corrupted. FIFA, hello, lads! If an official wants to be called 'Jack Warner', he could at least do it with grace. Goodnight, all!
Btw, well done to C and good luck to your child.

Was watching the rugger the other month for the first time in awile and what really struck me most was the difference in the forwards muscle mass compared to what must have been only a year or two ago. They look like fugging water buffalos.
Not naturally big looking but bulging neck steroid type big looking. In contrast It made me think of the good ole days with the likes of the strong as fuck Dean Richards with his fish and chip diet, beer belly and socks rolled down. Is it just me or did it seem more real/natural back then?
If there is an increase in nasty stuff on the field then maybe it's not a coincidence?

It's the difference between amateur and professional sports.
Rugby players until recently were part timers. Now they are dedicated athletes with nutrition, strength and conditioning coaches and tailored diet and exercise regime,
There's no gain that can be made through steroid use that cannot be also made with hard work and diet.
Though naturally there always are and always will be some cheats.

Well, very happy to say that Laddo's team have made the finals of the world championship - final being at 11pm PP time this evening.
Plenty beers, here.

Anybody have a schedule of the first games and screening times here?
Anybody in the TV industry know if we will be blessed to see the games...almost as much running as the Mayweather 'boxing' fiasco.

Faeries, come take me out of this dull world, For I would ride with you upon the wind, Run on the top of the dishevelled tide, And dance upon the mountains like a flame.
If you have semi-decent internet speeds, you should be able to watch all games through this site
http://www.drakulastream.eu/rugby-live- ... video.html
Won't be HD, but you should be able to find a stream that is sufficiently clear........
