Thanks. Have attempted them but not got sucked in so stopped after one or two episodes. Will try again though.

Justified was great.
Longmire, meh, gave up after 2 eps
Dark winds kept me watching till the end,
mostly due to the charismatic lead actor.
The old man is abysmal.
Everybody likes the dude, but this series, the phlegmatic pace, those out of this world idiotic pseudo philosophical endless monologues by Jeff
left me thinking: WTF were THEY thinking?
I may soon rewatch Angie Tribeca
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3597790/
Kind of like Brooklyn 99, but funnier
All of the above imho

House of the Dragon begins today. Last night episode 1 was leaked at all the usual places. Apparently the audio quality is average so I'm just going to wait until lunchtime when I can watch as its intended.

Dopesick.
Am on 7th of 8 episodes and have been gripped by it. Michael Keaton is one of the main characters and an executive producer.
I have never known anyone on OxyContin but from what I understand it is well portrayed. The greed in the family responsible for the drug, in the sales reps, in various people who held positions where they first went up against the producers (family) of the makers of OxyContin then ended up working for them is sickening.
I’d be interested to hear from those who have been closer to the negative effects of OxyContin than I have.
I think it’s an excellent series.

I was using 60mg oxys for extreme pain and they did the job nicely. I didn't give a darn about how addictive it was or the ethics behind the family business, only that they killed the pain. Stopped using them easily enough but not the case for millions of Americans.violet wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 4:13 pmDopesick.

^i almost added a comment that many were helped without addiction.
The negatives for millions are pretty shocking to me as someone not in the States when all this was going down though

A bit late to the party but 90 Day Fiancé UK (I’m told the original US version suffers from too much fakery) is a fantastic piece of human zoo that I’m sure at least a few people here can relate to.
I’m not normally into reality TV, but it is a lot of fun to sit there and judge who you think is being genuine and who’s being awful. There’s some brilliant storytelling in there where one episode you’ll be thinking eg the Filipina is a cynical golddigger and the next episode you see her side and end up rooting for her.

Very well made, some superb acting
Opening scene is genius

Indeed.
Say what you like about the German army, but you can't accuse them of not recycling.
Been a while, but as I'm banged up in Ponchentong immigration detention centre for a 3 year overstay, I've had time on my hands.
The screws let me keep my laptop and phone and the mrs tops up on super credit offers, so have excellent 4G.
What I have been watching:
SAS Rogue Heroes: hooray for Blighty and the British upper classes in the fight for victory.
The Outlaws: Bristol based comedy/drama. Gert lush bab.
The Love Box in Your Living Room: Harry and Paul spoof Adam Curtis and the BBC.
We Own This City: The Wire 2, bad cops.
Gangs of London: A bit violent TBF.
Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities: Seriously fucked up Twilight Zone/Tales From the Crypt short movies.
and finally watched the entirety of Better Call Saul. Which was worth it.
Maybe Lexy Baby will have a epileptic fit, but been using a great streaming service that hosts pretty much everything and seems safe, spoilered just in case.
Peace out G's

Oh dear. What's going to happen about that? Are you going to be deported or a fine or what? Can anything be done?
