Narcos Mexico Season 2 - another great season and the final scene is very powerful.
The New Pope - This season with Jude Law in his holy speedos again and John Malkovich. It's weird, sexy and the cinematography is lush.

Ozark Season 3 out since last weekend. Phenomenal, right up there with the wire and breaking bad.
I've been watching "The Man in the High Castle", the plot been based on a world in which Nazi Germany & Japan were the victors of WWII is a fantastic idea, but it is ruined by the sci-fi twist about parallel worlds in my opinion. Still enjoyable - not absolutely shit.
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.

^ If it's alternative history you're after, 'The Plot Against America'.
Same HBO crew backing up on 'The Deuce', which is also awesome.

So i just finished watching, 'Too Old To Die Young'. Part crime drama, part police drama, all weird.
The nutso Danish director, Nicolas Winding Refn, must have watched a lot of David Lynch stuff while being particularly stoned.
It was however fairly compulsive viewing, often wondering what the hell was going on/or going to happen next.
A one-off miniseries of just 10 episodes, well worth watching if you are stuck at home for the duration of this, The End of Times

Tried "the rain", a Swedish series. The wife finds it ok but I couldn't continue after 2 episodes, tedious and boring as fuck
Better Call Saul is finally merging into Breaking Bad with its last few episodes, if you're a fan go for it

I may be biased because I'm American and drug trafficking from Mexico is a big issue, but I enjoyedchalkybones wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2015 5:18 amNarcos - incredible new Netflix show about Pablo Escobar. Really, really good. Only one series out so far, but highly recommended.
Also +1 to the Peep Show recommendation earlier in the thread. Fucking hilarious British comedy - genius!
Narcos: Mexico almost as much as the original. Same narration-style, still historic.

If like me you had never heard of "Fauda" , a Netflix series... Drop whatever you're currently watching and get it. It doesn't get more tense and real and you'll discover a fascinating series, up there with Narcos and the best of them.
I'm not remotely interested in its main theme but binge watched the first few episodes last night. It even kept Mrs logos wiide awake despite being about something as alien to her as 15th century french poetry to a trump supporter
