Send it as a present to people you don't like, hipsters, backpackers, Republicans, etc.

...Eight years later, and I am thinking Cerevisia is still the best beer around with Himawari not far behind.
Tried the IPA at Hops last night and was very disappointed.

Their latest offering ; SMASH Juicy IPA is a belter - hoppy, juicy and around 6.4%... but they do have some clangers as well.Kampong Blues wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2024 3:48 pm...Eight years later, and I am thinking Cerevisia is still the best beer around with Himawari not far behind.

YOu need to check out the Craft Beer Festival coming up on Street 244 this month to see all the others breweries in action - there is a suprising number by all accounts.
The Hops gold angel is pretty good. I think Stone has some good beers. Cerevisia was my favorite, Honey Blonde my usual but a number of good offerings.

About time Cambodia had some decent bottled beers maybe I won’t have to survive on big Beer Laos and Angkor Stouts any more?
Plus it looks like they have Angkor Stout Extra@8% now?

"homemade beer" always makes me think of the gut rot shit we used to drink at home in the 80s before shitting our pants and vomitting on the dog - at least try and make it sound like a Micro-Brew or whatever they call it.
seems all the bars focused on this kinda beer is down TTP or Boeung Tompoung, nuffink for us Duan Penh drinkers to see or taste. I'm alrite but mebbie someone should to selling beer closer to the riverside

When did it start being called craft? It was beer, then a load of fizzy shit came along in the '80s so it was called real ale, to differentiate - you had to pump it with a long handle, which was great with jiggly barmaids.
Now it's called craft and the difference seems to be the drinkers have top knots instead of flat caps. That a fair synopsis?
Edit. Oh, and some if it's quite strong so you can actually get a hit if you tan it fast enough, unlike the canned shit.

Good news for IPA drinkers. The young German brewmaster fella at Cerevisia says they are currently working on 3 different IPA's. There will soon be a Session IPA, a West Coast style IPA, and a fresh new batch of the (very fruity) Splash IPA. Seems that all 3 will be available at Botanico in a few weeks.
