My posts are just jokes, maybe they're rude, offensive, and politically incorrect. They're not my opinion, viewpoint, idea, or judgement, but they're just fucking jokes so lighten up.

I had 3 different expats tell me e-cigs are illegal here, could not believe them, had to check..
From 2014,
From 2014,
That’s disappointing, that was a ray of hope for a while."In late February, when Prime Minister Hun Sen unexpectedly announced a ban on e-cigarettes,
Announcement of the ban was made concurrent with an order to shutter cafes selling flavored shisha tobacco."
...Always in my humble opinion...

They might be officially banned but you can still buy them and people openly vape anywhere they like.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

LL is right. There are lots of people vaping and lots of places to get supplies in Cambodia and you shouldnt have anything to worry about. Drunk driving or driving a moto without a helmet is against the law too but does it look like most people give a shit about that?

A few months ago there was a program on the BBC about fake cigarettes, the UK government/police/customs was cracking down on illegal cigarettes because they were lethal. They seriously went for Jinling cigaretes because they were deadly.
Now to demonstrate how deadly they were they demonstrated that if you light the jinling, sit down on a sofa that was pre 2004 (when furniture suffing was not yet fire resistant/retardent), fell asleep, dropped the burning sigarette in the corner of the sofa, then the resulting fire could easily kill you.
Now this was a BBC program, so instead of just telling honestly that smoking while almost falling asleep on a very old sofa is not the smartest thing to do, they enthousiaticly went for the "the police is protecting the public" line.
To make matters worse they also went for the "fake brands are bad" line, the JInling cigarettesbox looks like the camel cigarettes box in styling, but instead of a camel it had a goat on the package, and instead of "Camel" it said "Jinling".
So to all the english, if you buy cheap cigarettes, don't know the difference between a goat and a camel, can't read, if you have an old sofa, and fall asleep while smoking, then you will die. (unless the police will be succesfully take all "fake" (read "untaxed") cigarettes off the market)
P.s. I'm not pro smoking, but I do find it amazing how far the anti smoking lobby/BBC will go.
