Best affordable restaurants
I'm trying to build a list of good restaurants for different types of food. I'm interested in 'affordable' dining options around or <10USD for a main course.
I'm particularly interested in the following:
1. Dim sum
2. Sushi
3. Italian
4. Burger
5. Indian
6. Sandwich bar
Does anyone have recent good experience (& can therefore provide a recommendation)?
Feel free to recommend any other places which have impressed you

Not one of your preferred types, but I like Vitking. Good value, I have a discount card with them for my frequent visits.

I quite like Curry Bay on 172 for Nepalese/Indian food. Can get a starter, curry and naan for <$10 and Anchor draft for 2000r.
Massive stalker
From the top of my head, and all places I had eaten at:
1. Dim sum
Man Han Lou restaurant - http://yp.com.kh/listings/kh13445-man-h ... restaurant
They used to have dim sum at their old location on Monivong boulevard. I didn't check though whether they are still making them at their new location.
2. Sushi
The Sushi Bar - https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Sush ... 0057034409
A few on here have given glowing praise about their nigiri sushi but it left me a bit indifferent the times I had lunches there...
Honda Sushi - https://www.facebook.com/hondasushi/
I had lunches there a few times. I usually enjoyed the meals.
Grand Yamato - http://yp.com.kh/listings/kh58408-grand ... restaurant
That's my personal favorite. I always enjoyed my meals there. They are however maybe slightly above the USD10 ceiling, but they do have sizable lunch sets.
3. Italian
La Volpaia - https://www.facebook.com/pages/La-Volpa ... 2482664699
My usual go-to place for Italian food. Good servings size. Calzone is huge!
4. Burger
Mike's Burger House - http://yp.com.kh/listings/kh51346-mike-s-burger-house
Good variety of burgers.
5. Indian
Flavors of India - https://www.facebook.com/Flavors-of-Ind ... 972998824/
Had lunch there once, years ago. I remember that it was a good meal, not sure about the pricing though.
6. Sandwich bar
Nompang - https://www.facebook.com/nompangcambodia/
Personal banh mi favorite.
Banh Mi and Bros - https://www.facebook.com/banhmiandbros/
New sandwich shop. Their banh mi classic was a bit disappointing though, it was a bit bland. Their pickles didn't taste sour enough.
Vego Salad Bar - https://www.facebook.com/vego.saladbar/
As the name suggests, the focus is on composing your own salad (or choosing among their recipes), but you can wrap it in a tortilla.

Nice one. Thanks all so far.
Vitking - it's nice enough. Would be nicer if they'd chuck a chicken breast on top.
Must check out curry house & la volpaia.
I wasn't that impressed with sushi house...
Flavors of India & Mikes - agreed.
Haven't tried either of the suggested sandwich bars - must do.
Vego (& Gerbies) are decent options for me after the gym.

For Indian, sheer-e-punjab on 130 near the riverside offers superb food at excellent prices. Went many times, never disappointed.
Not on your list but try Cadillac on a Friday. All their meals are $5 and the ribs or the fried chicken steak are worth it. They have great salads too.
