Hey guys,
It has been some time since I have posted anything here. A work colleague and I are really interested to playing some cricket for fun and are trying to get some more people together. Does anyone play anywhere in PP?
Regardless - we want to set up a few hours on the 29th of October (next Saturday) perhaps on st. 350 - in the indoor football court (Ming Football Hour). It's 13 bucks an hour for the court hire so we can all share costs - should be a few bucks per person if we have enough ppl join.
What do you guys think? Any one interested? It's more about having some fun - and maybe we can build something more regular?
Please let me know.
Cheers!
Cricket in the Penh!

What are you going to do for wickets, balls, bats, gloves and pads etc? I've never seen any here.
I know I'm unloveable. You don't have to tell me. I don't have much in my life, but take it - it's yours.

My colleague has the gear. He has stumps a few bats and we will most likely use a taped tennis ball (althought I do have a real ball at home but I don't think we have pads). We will also probably have a few kids as well so the first time will be just to sus it out and see how we go 9and how much interest there is) then we can take it from there...If we have a good time - then we can become more ' professional'. I am flying to Oz in the new year as well so could always pick up some kit. This Charming Man wrote:What are you going to do for wickets, balls, bats, gloves and pads etc? I've never seen any here.
Kumar, the owner of Greater India restaurant-the guy who was attacked recently-was regularly playing organised cricket in PP when I knew him. If you contact him at the restaurant, he may be helpful.
