Anyone want to recommend a particular seller in PP?

Buffalo Sister.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Local markets, very cheap but very tasty.
The standard of Buffalo Sisters crackling during the weekdays is disappointing, but done well on Sunday's.

I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.

Find a shop that sells Philippine products and ask for chicharon . Goes down well with beer instead of peanuts.

I have just bought some from the Old Market. This is the first pork rind/crackling I have bought in Cambodia. I don't like it at all. Cardboard.

I used to snack on chicharon while on bus trips in the Philippines, as the vendors would hop on board and ply their wares up and down the aisle. Pretty ordinary stuff and I wouldn't recommend it. It is actually made from water buffalo hide, not pork.
Maybe the stuff you tried was from water buffalo, which is why you would not recommend it. My EX was a flipper and she made very good chicharon from our own pigs on the farm. In fact I would marry her again just so I could have another batch cooked by her, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,if she gave me back the farm.Gilmore wrote:I used to snack on chicharon while on bus trips in the Philippines, as the vendors would hop on board and ply their wares up and down the aisle.
