New bar opening in Sihanoukville - The Glory Hole
Don't pay for it though. That's not in your job description.
Do you have a work permit?

I lived in Alaska for 20 years and a "Glory Hole" in Alaska means the opening of a mine shaft or an open pit mine. There is a "Glory Hole" in Juneau, Alaska, but its a soup kitchen for the local poor/homeless.

So what do you call it in Alaska when someone is getting sucked off through a hole in a wall by a stranger then?oldmariner wrote:I lived in Alaska for 20 years and a "Glory Hole" in Alaska means the opening of a mine shaft or an open pit mine. We came down from PP last week for a visit. Nice guy behind the bar serving, chatted with him for a while. Asked about you and partner, I was told you were out to dinner and would be back later. We stayed around, but eventually we left and told the guy serving to tell you we would come back tomorrow. We came back the following night with Sopal. There were two or three customers and a girl serving (forget her name) We played pool for a while had a few drinks, then left. We came around the night before we returned to PP but there was only the one girl serving and no customers. She didn't know if you would be around later or not. Had a few drinks, and talked to the serving girl for a while. No one around so called Sopal and she came over and played pool for a while, then went home. We must have caught the bar on an off week or maybe it gets going after midnight or something, when we are safely tucked up in bed. Anyway, best of luck with the venture
Was shocked at how Kampong Som has deteriorated in the last two years, it's like a giant construction site interspersed with Chinese casinos in various stages of completion. My driver said they now call it Macau 2!
Don't know when , or if we will be down again. Our last trip was two years ago, so may drop back around 2019 or so
It's OK. The guy serving on the first night must have forgotten to pass on the message.Rozzieoz wrote:I don't live at the bar sorry, I go about once a week or if I know someone wants to meet me there. I didn't know you were going sorry.
