I’ve been to Malis many times. The last time I was violently sick, both ends, all night. Previously I’d eaten a banana and crisps. Never going again.
I may try Le Residence but only if OML is there with Lucky Lucan as a chaperone, and Migs’ pays of course.
I into salty too so I seek out Anchovies. Yum.

Their 16$ set lunch available until 5pm is great value but the wines are a bit expensive.
I wouldn’t partake in their caviar dinner either but you guys should reconsider caviar as a delicacy or admit you just can’t offer it. A well sourced beluga tin, sour cream, chopped boiled egg, shallot and lemon on canapes with stoli shots never gets old.

Plastic. Spoons. With caviar!
Oh the horror.
Oh the horror.
pew, pew, pew, pew!
No custard creams, bourbons or ginger nuts.
pew, pew, pew, pew!

Right, let's spend lots of money on caviar, then kill the taste by heaping all the condiments on itBarang_doa_slae wrote:Their 16$ set lunch available until 5pm is great value but the wines are a bit expensive.

Exactly the point I was making earlier: most people actually don't like the stuff.....

Caviar spoons are traditionally made of inert materials, such as mother of pearl, gold, animal horn, and wood. There is a custom that caviar should not be served with a metal spoon, because metal may impart an undesirable flavour.
Oh I thought the post was about the open wine event, not the Mar-a-lago fiasco
Mar-a-Lago Club diners ridicule Trump's restaurant for serving caviar with PLASTIC SPOONS and 'sad looking' little crackers
Guests have complained about Mar-a-Lago Club's sad presentation of caviar, which came served with plastic spoons Saturday night at President Donald Trump's ritzy private club in Palm Beach, Florida. Despite rumors to the contrary, the dismal-looking caviar was not from the president's $100,000-a-head fundraiser in the ballroom on Saturday, but rather from the club's restaurant.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... How does it compare? Is one a baller if they eat cod roe?

I had never heard this term before,it appears to be an Americanism. I had to look it up:
baller
A thug that has "made it" to the big time. Originally refered ball players that made it out of the streets to make millions as a pro ball player, but now is used to describe any thug that is living large. https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=baller
True Ballers rent out Open Wine and hold their wedding there western style. None of this sweat and dust in the village bollocks.
