When I moved here first it seemed like an area remote from much of the world as far as trends went. So while such huge international acts as "Michael Learns to Rock" and "Pitbull" made their marks here I was left in the cold. I heard about Justin Bieber but somehow managed to avoid hearing his music till years after he was huge. Not such a bad thing. I thought a thread about current stuff that some of us might have missed out on would be good. So here are just some of the amazing acts that you should catch up on if you don't want to feel like an old fogie. :
Here's the insanely talented "Lil Peeps" who unfortunately died already:
Here's the briliant "Lil Pump" :
Lil Xan:
Stitches:
More Stitches:
Fat Nick:
6IX9INE :
"Bhad Babie" - who is actually the "Cash me Ousside" girl:
And then the ultimate junior gangster, Lil Tay:
Further contributions are welcome.
Youth culture round-up.

Seems just about everyone is Lil' these days.
I'm guessing Lil' Tay is a parody of gangsta rap excess stupidity? Does she actually do anything besides exploit the novelty of a 9 year old asian girl talking like a wannabe ghetto hoe from 1989? I couldn't watch but 30 seconds of her inane, babbling video, bitch!
I'm satisfied to have had all that idiotic crap pass me by.

And yet, while xanax is an underground scene in the US of A, I can pop down and see Mr Sokheng at the end of my rural road and pick up a strip for $1.25.
*Edit Mr. Sokheng is an approved and registered pharmacist, money changer and pawnbroker btw. Not some shady street corner drugs seller.

Massive stalker
Total shite.
You won't want to hear that stuff in 2 years, never mind 200.
I don't even want to hear it now.
But that's the point of the tongue-in-cheek post, I believe.
Here's some real music.

Sound cloud rap is terrible, look at the face tats trend to verify how utterly tryhardish and wannabe this genre is.
I hope it faids out as fast as it faids in.
