The dude who runs it is Indian, and I've seen quite a few more obviously Indian customers in there. The simple Indian Masala Dosa is fine, but the dude tries to steer you on to his, as he calls them "signature dishes". I don't even know where to start but Schechuan Dosa, Gunpowder Dosa, Guacamole Dosa are just way out there, especially when you figure out that corn is the main ingredient of a lot of the dishes. I have nothing against a little bit of corn every now and then but that's all. I've had some okay food in there but I wish they would concentrate on refining Indian-style dosas and not bother with all that weird shit. As above, I'll be sticking to Dosa Corner and Taste Budz in the future.RobW wrote:They can also take their tom yum FyUsh1on dosa, roll it and push it far up their rectums. Is there a single wobbly head person working there?
I shall continue to enjoy my vegan food at Dosa Corner and Taste Budz when the yen takes me.

If I could just bring my own 1/4 chicken and add it to the plate it would be about right.Miguelito wrote:^^ I was a little skeptical at first as well, and definitely could have eaten more. But I was satisfied in the end and returned to the office feeling not hungry nor stuffed.
Dear Lord Baby Jesus, Lyin in a Manger.
This. Not sur e who said it, maybe Indian or Japanese, but they say one should leave the table feeling slightly hungry and after 10-20 minutes, one feels replete. We actually overeat by 30-40%Miguelito wrote:... I was satisfied in the end and returned to the office feeling not hungry nor stuffed.
Agree with Lucan, a standard masala dosa, like you'd get from a street vendor in India, is the way to go.

You mean the dosa flour is mostly corn? That means you miss out on the protein from the lentil, chickpea, rice combination.
Now that I think about it I think I went there when it was still just opening. The, very pleasant, dude that was running it then was a New Yorker if memory serves, though of Indian origin.
That might explain the chop suey and aubergine sashimi dosas or whatever. Anyway, good luck to him. I'm sure there is a bearded market for such things.

Thanks for the tip about Masala Dosa Street Kitchen - well I tried this place on Saturday night and ordered a Tomyum Dosa - was a little skeptical about it but in the end it turn out to be my favorite. Actually I have eaten at Dosa Corner and Taste Budz they are Indian restaurant but not Vegan secondly this Resturant clearly means that it's fusion food. So I don't understand the racist comments. Above all great food and ambience and 100% vegan. Thanks Miguelito to recommend. Uncltured people waste food - this place has a concept and I really respect what they are doing. Your mother's didn't teach you don't waste food lol
