Hostess bar for gays

Hostess bars are all over the city for the companionship of a lady... is there equivalent for gays?

Gay means all.
My gay friends in the UK like to hang out at “normal” bars, not for any particular group or gender. Maybe that’s why gay bars don’t often do well here, or there’s not many bumders in SE Asia.

I think some gay men wouldn’t like to be outed by going to an actual gay bar. It’s not like it’s hard for them to pickup other gay men.

(Here’s a question. Are openly gay men into ladyboys or are they just for the gays in the closet?)

i used to see working girls go out with female tourists often enough. they don't seem to mind and often prefer not having an old mans dick stuck in their faces. as far as male hostess bars go there are a few well known places with lady boys but if you want the real thing why not just go to one of the many gay bars in town? and it seems many tuk tuk boys are good to go if the price is right.

There is Pride of Cambodia bar in street 15 and Space Project bar in 136. Both have staff who can drink with customers and go out. There’s probably some others as well.

The same logic would apply to hetero men. Why not go for the real things, there are many "normal" bars that you can pick up women at? Why must you go to a hostess bar?

Thanks. I figured a bar on 136 probably just had hostess girls.

True, that's why the bars were traditionally hidden away a bit more, and gayer neighborhoods on the edgier parts of towns. That's all changed a bit in the west, of course.

i agree. unless you want 9 guys around you saying "buy me drink, buy me drink." why bother with a host/hostess bar?

unless you have an obsession with Connect 4 or Jenga.
