I can see people of all races on that menu. I take it you’ve never been to London?

Can’t believe how much you guys are having to pay for this rubbish in PNH. A sausage roll for $4? They’re a pound at most in the U.K. and it’s not as if the ingredients don’t exist in Cambodia.
Shocking prices.

I agree that many of these products are overpriced. However it's a small market and can't be compared to the UK. Puff pastry is also difficult to prepare here because of the climate. Refrigeration costs are high too.
I get the point about puff pastry but the comment on small market is strange and flies in the face of logical economic theory. Are you saying that as the potential market is small, they have to charge high.
That’s classic SEA thinking. I have a condo. There are very fewer renters so I know what I’ll do - I’ll put the rent even higher. Better to have it empty / make no sales than charge a rent / price that meets the market.

Unfortunately I’m not a fan of the only type of food America has,the grease-soaked Burger?
I suspect you're being facetious but economy of scale and incremental cost and all that. Not like there's enough of a market to mass-produce the things for the Cambodian market.Vespasian wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2024 1:26 amI get the point about puff pastry but the comment on small market is strange and flies in the face of logical economic theory.
