I am a Nomad engineer traveling around the world. My hobby is to learn some local instrument.
Today I've just come to Cambodia, and will spend for a month at most.
So If possible, I want to learn the instrument called Tor Che, even if it is very difficult.
Does anyone know such person(player or teacher) or lesson class?
Of course I will pay for the lesson. Thank you.
Can I learn Tor Che?

I don't know for certain, but the first place I would try is Cambodian Living Arts.
One Westerner who might know is Julien Poulson from the Cambodia Space Project might be able to give you a pointer as well. I think he still has a shop called Sticky Fingers at House 40 Street 118. Mostly these days I think Julien is working out Kampot.

I'm assuming you mean Tro Che. My kid's grandfather has one and can play it. He probably wouldn't mind teaching someone. It's quite difficult to even get a note out of, let alone play a tune, but with a bit of practice you'll probably get it. Don't buy one with a snakeskin face or you might have it confiscated by customs.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

Is this Tro Che anything like the Chinese Er Hu? You bow it? They're showing a couple different instruments on google search.
