it took 10 months to gather 3,800 cases and 60 deaths
in the last 2 weeks there have been an additional 3,579 cases and 4 additional deaths
doesn't look very promising for Thailand to be "open for tourism" anytime soon.

Phuket will be in a better position to clarify, but I'm hearing that certain parts of Thai economy are opening up effective today. Is that the case?

I'd like to get over there as soon as I can.

What kind of vaccines are they talking about getting soon in Cambodia and Thailand? Chinese, Indian, German or US? Maybe a mix?

Phuket has been open since July> no curfews, no lockdown
ONLY bars nationwide must stop serving alcohol at midnight

Quarantine for some if travelling from one of the 28 red zones.
Tourists can get a STV visa ( valid for up to 9 months) a regular tourist visa 60 days + 30 day extension or visa exempt 45 days + 30 days

All arrivals must meet requirements, ( med insurance for $100,000, pre covid test, quarantine for 14 nights on arrival)

Thailand getting a mix of vaccines starting feb 1st
