Bringing the news. You stay classy, nas, Cambodia.
If those infants were allowed to carry guns to kindergarten, this never would have happened.
Sad. You can't prevent these things unfortunately. Determined people will always find a way to inflict damage.
I wonder how Thai cities outside of the capital are equiped to deal with these kind of situations. I am from a small country where rapid armed response units can arrive under 15 min in nearly every location of the country. Most big Thai cities have army bases present but unsure about SWAT-style police units.

Meth is pure evil. It was created by Adolf Hitler and given to his soldiers to make them stay awake for days without food. It is not necessarily surprising that meth caused someone to lose their mind this way but it is very unfortunate that it happened in Thailand and that the victims were innocent preschoolers.
I hope that Thailand does not follow the USA and throw their children to the school shooters by ignoring the mental health pandemic. It might be an Asian country where psychology and therapy might be new and shamed, but in the face of an emergency like this any step should be taken to maintain peace in the country. Increased mental healthcare in Thailand would also help a few expats and foreigners who need to see someone and/or be put on psychiatric medications.

Wrong, you are an imbecile. But keep posting as I need a decent laugh these days.
Trouble with that is their guns are taken off them. Go figure

It seems most of the victims were stabbed to death. My Thai isn't very good but I came across a first responders video on Facebook.
From what I understood of the female teacher interviewed: the attack happened around lunch time where some (staff?) were eating outside and the kids were sleeping in the building. The attacker forced its way in. There were also bodies outside but I am not sure from who. Could be his wife or a random person.
He was armed with a gun and large knife. The gun was legal. Would it be taken after the court case? Who knows. Doesnt really matter. He did use a knife, could have made a bomb or driven his vehicle into people. If you want to kill you find a way.
So yeah mental health and drugs are a thing..... Lets hope it both improve in Thailand and here in Cambodia. Too many brutal killings. But the big boys are used to an infinte money flow of drugs money so nothing will really change.
