Looks like a nasty wound, but not much worse than she could get from drunken, horny patrons at any Russian-owned go-go bar on Walking street any given night. I see the article says "another Russian bit". How many Russians are being chomped by monkeys in Pattaya? Is it an ongoing epidemic or something? Are they sure the culprit was actually a monkey and not a short, hairy, farang?

On Wednesday Night, a 20-year-old female Russian tourist was transported by Sea Ambulance from Larn Island to the Bali Hai Port, after suffering a monkey bite to her right-leg.
The victim, who identified herself as Miss Alexandra, was rushed to the Bali Hai Port by Ambulance from Tawaen Beach on Larn Island, where the incident took place.
According to the victim, who was on the Island with her Russian boyfriend, the pair encountered 2 monkeys as they drove close to the beach area, after touring the Island on their rented motorbike.
She claims that one of the monkeys approached her in an aggressive way and bit her leg for no apparent reason.
Authorities suspect there is more to the encounter than the victim has revealed, but are more concerned with the Russians well-being and will wait for her to recover before speaking with her about the incident.
