A young American guy, Nathan House, has apparently committed suicide in a Phuket hotel in the most considerate way, leaving 615 Euro and around 32000 baht to be used to cover hotel, cremation and police costs.

According to his website, he has thought about suicide long and hard and it looks like he went to Thailand solely to end his life. What a waste of a young life.

Read his reasons why he choose to take his life.
It wasn't his first attempt and the story behind the faluire of the health and court system is shamefull
Whats most sad is at 26 he thought he had a worthless future.

Sad story. Saves a few bob compared to a visit to Dignitas in Switzerland for assisted suicide (Euro 4-7k apparently) but, despite the bad press the latter place has got, I know which I would prefer : a good meal in comfortable surroundings ending with a tiramisu, glass of excellent red wine and expresso (no cigar - bad for the health) - then a comfortable couch, Keith Jarrett playing softly in the background and....

Are you saying that listening to Keith Jarrett softly after a decent meal will end your life? Thank fuck I haven't done that yet. This should be on more of the suicide DIY websites, all the other methods sound far worse even if I don't think so much of Keith Jarrett.RBD wrote:Sad story. I found this story about a suicide guy who paid his bill more interesting:

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
I am pretty sure with all the info contained in that news report.....GavinMac could solve the case of who he was.Lucky Lucan wrote:I found this story about a suicide guy who paid his bill more interesting:
