I thought that book painted him in a very favorable light, highlighting the public service programs and the huge number of projects to shift the country forward that he put into effect. It did of course point out some negatives, which is why it is banned in Thailand.slavedog wrote:The King Never Smiles is worth a read.
That's one thing I like about Cambodia, there are no books/ movies / sites banned here. There is of course strong disapproval of the discussion of certain topics but that is not quite as extreme.
