Hi friends!
I am ABA Bank customer. ABA has no option to use iBank to make interbank transfer between other Cambodian banks.
Is it common for all Cambodian banks?
Internet bank transfers within Cambodia
Apologies but I am unaware that ABA will not allow local transfers. I never tried it but sounds strange.
I know it is easy with Hong Leong, well at least I saw the local transfer option on the HL ibank.

Between other bank probably. To an MFI. No!
pew, pew, pew, pew!
In ABA iBank I can make transfer to any ABA account but to transfer to another bank I have to come to the bank office. Not convenient.
It can be done....contact the bank via their online chat help service and they will explain how.tihon wrote:In ABA iBank I can make transfer to any ABA account but to transfer to another bank I have to come to the bank office. Not convenient.
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
I do transfer from anywhere over the world from my Canadia account to another account inside Cambodia. No problem.
Though, I do have the RSA key in stead of the TAN by SMS.
What is disappointing are the transfer costs. Something like 5% of the transfer amount charged for costs, though I usually do smaller amounts (<USD 500).

v12 is correct, you need to buy the RSA token (25$) in order to make money transfers to other banks in Cambodia or abroad.
Note, these transfers need to be < 9000$ (If you want to make a transfer > 9000 USD, you need to go to a branch, seems it's a limit they set on their ibanking system)
ABA will charge 15$ for the money transfer and 30$ for intermediary bank if any.

Why would I care? I'm Khmer
Canadia bank = RSA token

Let me add some info about the costs, after checking the overview more carefully. Turns out Canadia bank often corrects the costs from $5 to $3 "automatically".
When doing internet initiated transfers, for Canadia bank the transfer costs are:
- The inter bank transfer costs inside Cambodia are $3.00.
- The Canadia intra bank transfer costs out of the "town branch" are $2.00.
- The Canadia intra bank transfer costs inside the "town branch" are zero and the transfer is immediate.
All for low amounts. For higher amounts, calculate something like 0.1% - 0.15%.
