Bitcoins worth more than gold
Theres only going to be around 19 million bitcoins.
How many will be lucky enough to actually own a whole bitcoin.
They should be called satoshi banks, not bitcoin banks.

The funny part is someone (can't be bothered to go check who or where) back in the depths of these 440 Bitcoin threads was advising to buy proper stocks like Tesla .logos wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 9:08 pmThis is a game changer. Elon has a huge amount of followers, and Tesla isn't exactly insignificant

Not knocking Tesla in any way. It's just funny to see the current darling of traditional investment channels spending their cash on Bitcoin.

About 3 weeks probably partly as a result of reading threads like this I started playing about with crypto currency trading.
I use Revolut app which does the trades for me (for a commission obvs) .
I just wanted to play around a bit with some throwaway money and see what happened. In less than a month I have managed to turn £100 into £165 worth of stock - and that's without going near bitcoin, and missing their big rises a couple of days ago.
I have no real idea what i'm doing, and managed to increase my money. I know it could all decimate tomorrow but i could see how naive people could get sucked into this and end up losing a heck of a lot of money. Its just too easy to throw money around.

It's a bit like gambling; only put down what you can afford to lose.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 2:34 pm...i could see how naive people could get sucked into this and end up losing a heck of a lot of money...

Sure, if you just yolo your money into any alt-coin it is gambling. This usually turns out well in a bull market. Do not try this in a bear market you will go -90% To reduce your risk learn a bit about candle sticks/charts, support and resistance, order types & stop-losses. Keep up with news and trends (reddit/discord/etc.).
Pro-tip: if you want to risk it all, trade with leverage To see the result of a drop/spike in price look at the $$$ amount of liquidations on Bitmex.
To minimize your risk keep it simple, look at moonmath.win Buy some Bitcoin when we are in the blue range. Hold long enough and sell.

About 400% return in a couple of months, turning a low 5 figure amount into a low 6 figure amount. I'll be putting more € in Ada shortly, it's now the third largest crypto after BTC and Eth
I think it can only go up long term. The current total valuation of all cryptos is just over 1T, with BTC about 80% of that.
People are (rightfully) getting wary of holding $$, which offers no hedge against inflation and has been eroded for years with successive waves of quantitative easing (=printing money). Cryptos aren't going to be manipulated by governments to fund unsustainable public deficits. Visa is likely to adopt crypto as well, after PayPal and Tesla.
I'm more and more convinced were at the beginning of the most important paradigm shift in monetary history.

It is never too late to become a member. However you might run out of cash before you have 1 Bitcoin
If 47k holds we are likely to see 54k in the weeks to come.

So the countries that have outlawed crypto are going to repeal the crypto ban laws...LOL
first to adopt --> rich
last to adopt --> poor in comparison to early adopters.

On Thursday I bought 20k € of XLM @ 38c, it's now 47c. Ethereum following the same trend.
It's weird but I'm not questioning a 4k+ gain in 48 hours. I'll be selling some non performing stock to put into crypto. I'd rather take that risk than leave cash in a deposit account, even with a "safe" 7% yearly return with AMK

XRP OMG and EOS have all had 35 - 50% increases in the past week. I don't have the appetite to go big on crypto but nice to see healthy returns that will pay for my next holiday plus some.logos wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 4:35 pmOn Thursday I bought 20k € of XLM @ 38c, it's now 47c. I’d look at Dot as well.
Clearly, there’s crypto and there’s crypto. I.e. ETH and BTC. The latter probably has a floor of not less than 30k, given the apparent quorum among NASDAQ types.
Other alt coins are literal dogs:

Still, dropping a lazy couple hunge on DOGE is probably more rewarding than an afternoon punting Keno - wadda ya think RC?
