A Transferwise card? I didn't get one of those. Just do it all online and pay them by debit card then they send it wherever you want.
Great rates and very low charges. Fast too. Maybe 4 days to Cambodia with no pesky intermediaries.

may I ask how much and how long before the money was received at the bank. In the past I did do a few bank to bank transactions, but they took a week, and even when selecting that all costs were for me (the sender) the cambodian bank had deducted costs from the amount sent.

They have been great for me for everywhere except Cambodia where I was charged $60 by the destination bank on a $300 transfer. When I queried it with TW they didn't want to know.scobienz wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 5:06 pm
Transferwise is superb. TIme it right and you can get better rates than can be found even on XE. They also have a facility where you can lock in an advantageous rate for 24 hours (or an entire weekend if you do it on a Friday) if you're worried about exchange rates fluctuating too much.
