The wife has had a throat clearing problem which seems to be getting more and more severe....She has seen 4 or 5 doctors ( from Cambodia-Japanese Hospital to private clinics)who all seem to be prescribing mainly the same medicines which are not solving the problem...
Thanks
Throat specialist needed
Personally I'd start with Gavin Scott.
I tried some of the new docs in town for a while but returned to Gavin - if he can't fix it, he'll know where to send her...

I have this idiot v12 on ignore but accidentally clicked on his post to reveal that comment. It has confirmed my decision to block him was right.
What a complete bell-end.
I hope the OP can get the right medical advice - ie not from an internet know-it-all. Gavin Scott is a good start, he is well enough connected to be able to send you to the right specialist.
I've been to an ENT specialist opposite HengLy market on 271 whom I was impressed with his knowledge and treatment. Sorry, I can't remember his name but the place is almost directly opposite the market.

When I saw v12 was posting here I feared the worst and true to form he delivered his usual stupid comment.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 6:30 pmI have this idiot v12 on ignore but accidentally clicked on his post to reveal that comment. It has confirmed my decision to block him was right.

Thanks for your helpful information and will probably decide tomorrow or Monday.
afaik, you don't need a referral to see a specialist here, so no 'connection' needed.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 6:30 pmGavin Scott is a good start, he is well enough connected to be able to send you to the right specialist.
Simply ask lay people, then contact the specialist

No, you don't need a referral. But you do need to know who to go to.ragtag wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 5:20 amafaik, you don't need a referral to see a specialist here, so no 'connection' needed.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 6:30 pmGavin Scott is a good start, he is well enough connected to be able to send you to the right specialist.

I'd prefer to see a doctor, who may be able to help me but if not he will know the best person to send me to.
I can highly recommend Raffles Clinic on St 51.
I went to an ENT specialist there a few years ago called Lucy Haurisa and have never been so impressed with a medical professional.

...Went to Sensok and spoke to our Russian baby doctor...No Russians left at Sensok and many have left the country...
Thanks for your help anyways...
After another exam the wife is taking something different now...Will see how it works out...
