Been doing this for years, also.metaleap wrote: It's funny, over the last 4 or 5 days of this, no farts or burping or bloating.. it's like I have no longer a digestive tract and all food ingested is immediately fully absorbed .. like some alient creature would or something. Seems no "nr 2" happening anymore so far but not constipated either. It is absolutely pretty fascinating so far
I'd recommend anyone to one day, just for kicks, wait for lunch or dinner until they feel really hungry, then consume a huge steak with no sides or sauces, not even a tiny leaf of salad or slice of veg or fruit. And no fancy drinks other than some water and just the huge steak by itself, including the fatty bits (skip the rind of course). Then marvel at how it doesn't "fill you up" yet fully satisfies, provides a stable flow of energy without any insulin rush and crash, you can basically down it and 10 minutes later easily get going with your business of the day. Quite pleasant, might be a really smart lunch choice for office workers who don't wanna fall asleep and become lethargic after lunch, as so often happens.

Lost 16.5kg in 3 months in around 2009 with no extra gym or extra exercise and kept it off for years - laziness built that fat up from 2005
Lost 12kg in 3 months until now, same re exercise - 5kg more to lose - stopped smoking May 2013, started eating to beat the nicotine and slowly grew a lardass.
Diet = very low to zero carbs - lots of meat of any kind including fat - lots of veggies - eat any quantity you like... kilos of it if you want, but you won't want to.
Accurate metaleap - seems fully absorbed - go for a Forrest once a week.
Feeling the effects of the changeover to burning fat lasts around a week for me - feels like I'm 190 years old for a while, then it's quite quickly back to business as usual. Definitely worth doing every once in a while for the weight loss and change of perspective.
