Gyms in Toul Kork?
Gyms in Toul Kork?
I just arrived in Phnom Penh a few days ago to begin a new job. I'm living in Toul Kork and would like to find a decent gym not too far from my apartment if possible. I don't need anything super fancy - a decent selection of treadmills, stationary bikes and weights (free weights & machines). Air conditioning would also be a big plus. Anyone in this area know of any places or have any recommendations?

The Place has a new outlet in Toul Kork. That may be too fancy for you though. About $750 a year.

The De Castle apartments have gyms I believe. A bit cheaper than the place, but inferior equipment also.

I personally go there:

Price is fair and the equipment are good.

This is the strangest life I've ever known.
Thanks for the suggestions. I've seen DeCastle apartment which is not far from my apartment and very close to where I work. Not exactly sure where the others are, but I'll check them out also. I'm probably best off if I can find a gym not too far from my apartment since that'll make it more likely for me to go regularly.
I also thought about running around my apartment, but not sure the area is too conducive for that. So far, just been walking around the area to find my way around a bit.

I haven't found many cheap gyms in Toul Kork. I use good time gym which is good with gym/pool/tennis courts etc. They charge about $60 a month but will do you a half day membership for about $36. I go on my lunch break so its fine for me as it allows you to use between 6-1. Midland hotel near TK avenue is really good and they have different deals from $5 a go to buying 20 passes for $70. I did try to start a 5 a side football evening around here but got about 2 players
