I know for major health issues Cambodia is not ideal however , would Sen Sok International Hospital be a reliable choice to conduct a biopsy ? If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.

The Viet option ís best for treatment once confirmed . I thought the initial biopsy should be easy enough . He has a tumor / lump on his spine giving him pain . It may be benign hopefully . He's just trying to get a reliable confirmation locally .... doesn't want to travel , worried about it and has not much money .

Biopsies are sent out to VN anyway, so no need to travel there. Had one done for a friend at Central Hospital.

FV Hospital in District 7 HCMC is the only JICA approved medical facility in VN. I just had an experience there with a friend who had to have an emergency appendectomy due to a burst appendix. Treatment was top notch and successful and my friend is back in Bangkok.
My feeling is that if the OP's friend has something on his spine, I would want a top notch hospital to deal with it. Bangkok, of course, has easily half a dozen first-class hospitals.

I've seen Dr. Gavin Scott for stomach / bowel problems and I wouldn't hesitate to ask him about services available in Phnom Penh. I trust him and he seems very much aware of the medical world in PP / SEA.Lucky Seven wrote:He's just trying to get a reliable confirmation locally .... doesn't want to travel , worried about it and has not much money .

Seeing as jm was at one time, counted as a storied member of a venerated and venerable cadre of esteemed West Los Angles mohalim, I would countenance his advice on any and all matters of fleshy excision with the highest regard.
Thank you.
Thank you.
