DMSO
Does anyone know if you can buy DMSO in Seim Reap, or order it from PP and get it shipped to SR? It is one of the very best things out there for muscle and joint pain. Not that joint, the elbows, knees etc.

Quick Google shows DMSO is for treatment of cystitis. Pretty uncommon in dudes, you've probably picked up something that needs something a bit stronger like Zithromax?

Just to save embarrassment:
DMSO is used topically to decrease pain and speed the healing of wounds, burns, and muscle and skeletal injuries. DMSO is also used topically to treat painful conditions such as headache, inflammation, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and severe facial pain called tic douloureux. It is used topically for eye conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, and problems with the retina; for foot conditions including bunions, calluses, and fungus on toenails; and for skin conditions including keloid scars and scleroderma. It is sometimes used topically to treat skin and tissue damage caused by chemotherapy when it leaks from the IV that is used to deliver it. DMSO is used either alone or in combination with a drug called idoxuridine to treat pain associated with shingles (herpes zoster infection).
But you're right it is used for pain in UTIs
Bladder inflammation (interstitial cystitis). DMSO is an FDA-approved product for the treatment of a bladder condition called interstitial cystitis. Washing the bladder with DMSO improves symptoms such as pain associated with interstitial cystitis. https://www.rxlist.com/dmso_dimethylsul ... ements.htm

Thank you, and yes used to treat a variety of different things. I found it when I was raising horses. It will also help many different topicals break the skin barrier so they can treat things better. I use it with a couple of different balms to treat pain in my shoulders. It works very well. I am just not sure if I can carry some in my suitcase when I come. One pint, after it is diluted, will last me for years.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have used/tried just about everything on the market for pain relief. I broke 3 vertabrae and crushed 5 discs in a fall in 1968. I have a repaired ACL, repaired shoulder impingement syndrome in both shoulders, tennis elbow on both sides, and various and sundry in other joints. I don't like any pain reliever strong enough to impair my thinking. My NSAID of choice is Ibuprofen. I decided to go with DMSO because it is a local versus a systemic remedy. I put it on my shoulder, followed by Balm of Gilead, each night for 3 weeks and have been mostly pain free in that shoulder for 2 1/2 years now. For minor aches and pains Ibuprofen works well for me.

I imagine you're still around but not sure if you'll get to see this, did you ever find a source for DMSO in Siem Reap, or anywhere in Cambodia?
