Heard good things about physiotherapist Mark Chen, still in town I think and probably worth a visit before meeting a quack who will probably insist on injections and a bag of Smarties.

Unusual for both shoulders to be damaged. Tendon damage takes time to heal . I've had a full thickness tear in a shoulder tendon so I know it's painful .
You will need an image to be sure .
Mark Chen is a good self promoter and salesman ... as a physiotherapist I have no idea.

The Physiotherapy Phnom Penh team counts a number of excellent physios among them. They have two locations in town. One is Russian Market area and the other is up nearer to Calmette hospital. I have only ever been to the former.

You say that like it is a bad thing! Everybody I know who has a succesful business started out learning from a boss and then decided to go alone. Most of my mates back in London are now millionares from starting out as builders mates, workman, etc, and then there are a few like me who had no work ethic and are as happy as Larry.

Thanks, Violet - got an appointment tomorrow. 50 bucks initial exam and treatment, then 40 per followup. Reasonable. I tried Mark Chen first, but his website has been hijacked.

Works for me. Anyhow, both options should be better than a Cambodian hospital visit for starters - if it is nasty, then at least you'll get an honest answer first.

There are a couple of good options depending on the type of injury and care you need

ICC good for chiropractic care
Samata/ PPP good standard western therapists
Mark Chen as mentioned former PPP, now practicing in the Brazilian jujitsu place (H/art)

Saw him for a shoulder issue and was very imressed, never had such detailed information on an injury before.
He said he was at the crossfit place in bkk before but apparently they got closed down?
