Hi, I have a hernia, it’s been getting bigger, so I went to consult with a doctor about it. The conclusion was that surgery isn’t necessary yet.
I was advised to wear a truss and keep an eye on the hernia.
I’d like to ask if anybody knows where I could buy a truss in P.P.? The hospital doesn’t have them; the nurse suggested a “big pharmacy” near, but not in, Olympic Stadium Mall. I’m not too familiar with that part of town.
This is a health issue, I’d really like to address it ASAP. If you have any information I could use, please post it here, and thank you very much!

There are a whole bunch of pharmacies opposite olympic stadium the first one on the corner if yer coming down from Lucky's is the supplier to all the other pharmacies in PP. If they don't have one no one will.
k440, something to do when you're pissed.

my youngest daughter was born with a double umbilical hernia.
the specialist surgeon the gp referred us to recommended surgery asap to rectify them as they posed a significant risk to her bowels coming through her stomach muscles
this was when she was only 2yo and had to be done under general anaesthetic not just a iv sedation.
very traumatic for the little thing

Thank you all for giving me some information I can use!
- horace, I’ll be checking pharmacies around Olympic Stadium. I think I saw the ‘main one’ on the map. Thanks!
- over the rainbow, I was informed that this hernia is ‘reducible.’ If it does get smaller, I *assume surgery would be safer.
- rgrowden, duct tape *could be an option if it came to that. Removing it would not be fun, since you know where hernias (like mine) are usually located! Ouch!
- maxx, I hope your daughter is OK now. I have a daughter too, so your post really moved me.

Just the thought of the tape being ripped away brings tears to my eyes.
I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

I found what I needed on Canadia (St. 284), just near Olympic market.
It has several medical supplies stores and many pharmacies.
