2 more whistleblower's report then silenced by the state. What got them locked up.
Freedom is not a state. It is an act. It is not some enchanted garden perched high on a distant plateau.. Freedom is a continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society.-John Lewis

Though infection and death rates are muted compared to the initial peak, this is far from over. My sons school here in Shanghai has now told us that the planned restarting date in early March can not be maintained and resumption of classes is postponed without a set date. The local schools here plan for early May.
Anyway, Air China, always the people's choice, still flies direct from Beijing to Stockholm so there is an escape route. I might be thrown into an internment camp but I'd prefer that to getting stopped in Frankfurt (Air China also flies over Frankfurt and Munich) by a German guard with a barking dog and get thrown into a German camp. I've heard they're nasty. As a long term expat i have lost medical benefits in the EU area so paying for internment in Germany might be costly.
Japan still accepts people from Shanghai so that might also be an option as we get 90 days on arrival. then plan to asylum in Hokkaido. I've heard the pay people to settle in remote areas.
So, let me hear all your escape plans in Cambodia now that the gates have opened to 2000+ super spreaders from the ship. I'm not a paranoid, just exercise normal caution.

stats are being manipulated so anything based on them is worth taking with a huge pile of salt - but watch out for your blood pressure.Dahon wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 7:43 amMorning everyone!

They quote a certain Mr Neil Fergusson of Imperial College London fame (I know about him) saying:
"Researchers estimate that 60 percent of the world's population can be infected - and 400,000 can die only in the
UK.
- It is estimated that about one percent of those infected can die. Then 400,000 dead is not an absurd number. This
virus worries me more than anything else I've ever worked with, said Professor Neil Ferguson at Imperial College
London when interviewed on Channel 4 according to the Mirror."
And we all know the Daily Mirror is the universal truth so there is probably some reason for concern.
Further quotes:
"This virus... concerns me the most of everything I've worked on."
A scientist at the forefront of researching the coronavirus says it could "potentially" spread to 60% of the population.

And a poll among 500 U.K. medical staff shows that 96% claim the system is incapable of handling an epidemic
So, load up on prahok!

I can truthfully say, that out of all the hundreds of expats I've met in Cambodia who are right-wing, none - absolutely none of them, have been even remotely like fluffy kittens. Completely the opposite, in fact.Steve Zodiac wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 12:53 amFor fucks sake, lay off with the paranoia. You may well ask 'What is the opposite to a fluffy kitten?'
Up the workers!
Donald loves Cambodia now.
Thank you to the beautiful country of Cambodia for accepting the Carnival Cruise ship Westerdam into your port. The United States will remember your courtesy!

Also 2 flights from PP-KL chartered to take the Westerdam passengers were, for some reason cancelled.
