Found a fun article about Seattle and Australia panic buying.

Looks like toilet paper shortages are what people are worried most about. Didn't see that on OP's supply list, oh no!

Hand sanitizers difficult to find. Saw some silly prices on Amazon (dictated by the 3rd party sellers)
Water? Meh, can use tap water as backup
Toilet paper? Bum gun household here

There was a post on TOF about panic buying in Thailand along with pictures of empty shelves as proof. One poster (yong) said nope, all good with pictures of full shelves!
Wife said today panic buying in PP. I said fake news.
So I went out and bought baby milk (don’t need any till Tuesday) two cans of Fanta, two Sprite, some cleaning bleach, a lighter and some Dutch Mill milk.
All the shelves were full (very) and no one was panic buying.
In fact I emailed a mate who’s a area manager for Tesco and asked if he’s had any panic buying. Nope he said. Supply chain is good no issues. Fake news he said.

Bongs,
Evidently China's economy is in trouble, and like most of the global economy, it needs stimulus too keep going, like the drug addict it is. The news coming out from over there says that the virus is stopping that from happening.
Meanwhile, you have the perfect distraction from economic troubles. Fear has always been the tool too control the masses over there. (We must cull the street dogs). Bush used it to kick start the Iraq war. More lately it's been those darn Mexican rapists, and the war against drugs.
If China's economy doesn't turn itself around, will CoronationSt Virus be the next perfect scapegoat for the financial crisis that never really ended.
IIRC, it was the poor that were initially blamed for the subprime mortgage crisis.

Relax Spit, hand lube is taking over from oil and toilet roll is taking over from car parts and little trinkets of platicfucktardery. CO2 levels are way down. The only thing people should be panic buying are seeds and bicycles ( edit) oh, and bitcoin.
Unless you have money invested in oil polluting companies.
