The PM has recently begun encouraging parents to have their under 4's vaccinated against Covid after one of his grandchildren caught COVID.
Now as a parent of an under 4 year old I was all set to vaccinate at age 5. However, i'm unclear on whether any official advice exists to justify this new suggestion. I have checked NHS, CDC and WHO and neither are supporting this new PM opinion. Am I missing something?
To jab or not to jab, that is a question

We're any of the grandchildren at any of the alleged 17 parties?

Not BoJo the clown. This suggestion is from the Cambodian PM after one of his grandchildren had covid.
Take a wait and see approach. Look at Israel opening the borders again on March 1 for everyone.
Rest will follow suit, I am sure.timesofisrael wrote: Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz announced Sunday a plan to ease certain COVID restrictions on travel and education, set to come into effect on March 1.
Under the new guidelines, both vaccinated and unvaccinated tourists of all ages will be allowed into the country, as long as they submit a negative PCR test before boarding the flight and take another one after landing in Israel.
Having been here for over 10 years I have learned not to listen to Khmer doctors too much. Rather go to Thailand, Singapore or Vietnam. Given that the PM has no medical background whatsoever and foreign nations have a different opinion on vaccinating children I ignore his calls for vaccination. The problem is attending daycare/kindergarten/school without the required number of jabs....
We already have had Covid around Pchum Ben when everybody was allowed to travel, great decision of the same guy.... Most likely that was Delta. During that time the little one was breastfeeding and slept in the same room so I assume she has some anti-bodies already. We adopt a wait and see strategy, worst case we leave the country.

Starting at the age of 18 months I was vaccinated 23 times by the time I was 11 years old. Smallpox, polio, Typhus, diptheria, etc.. All those vaccines offering much less efficacy than modern day vaccines. I have had 4 Moderna jabs, was the first in my former workplace not to be forced go through an unpaid quarantine after a co-worker(close contact) tested positive and ended up in the hospital for a long stay. So many of my co-workers got infected we were only able to offer the most limited of services. Finally the company mandated getting vaccinated. I rely only on peer reviewed research from The Lancet and the New England Medical Journal for medical information. Bless
Freedom is not a state. It is an act. It is not some enchanted garden perched high on a distant plateau.. Freedom is a continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society.-John Lewis

76 per cent of Cambodian children under the age of one received vaccines during Covid-19 pandemic:, says UNICEF
PHNOM PENH, April 22 (Xinhua): The United Nations children's fund UNICEF announced that 76 per cent of children under one in Cambodia had received childhood vaccines during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The agency said in a statement that Cambodia is among countries with the highest Covid-19 vaccination coverage rates in the world, with over 99 percent of adults protected, and where vaccine confidence is still strong.
"As for routine immunization, 76 percent of children under the age of one are considered fully immunized," the statement said. "However, 8 percent of children are considered zero-dose children meaning they have not received their first essential vaccine, with many of these children coming from remote areas, ethnic minorities, urban poor and migrant communities."
It added that inequities for essential lifesaving vaccines is still high in some areas, such as Mondulkiri province, in the northeast part of the country, where more than a third of children under one do not receive all essential vaccines.
"We welcome the efforts and progress made by the country, along with partners, in preventing children from deadly diseases and in expanding the national immunization coverage, including for COVID-19," the UNICEF's acting representative in Cambodia Anirban Chatterjee said.

I feel like the author could have made it a bit more explicit whether or not the covid vaccine was being given to under-1s. It doesn’t say that it is, and the last paragraph suggests that it isn’t, but covid is mentioned so often in the article that I couldn’t say for 100% sure.Bong Burgundy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 7:41 am76 per cent of Cambodian children under the age of one received vaccines during Covid-19 pandemic:, says UNICEF
