Are there any kind of medical visa for Thailand?
My apologies, I'm sure Dr.Google will tell me, but it's an emergency case (Brain tumour epilepsy and seizures) and I'd like to keep my focus on the patient.
Would anyone be so kind to come with a short summary or any useful links pls? Or some personal experiences.
Any hospitals recommended (Bangkok)?
Royal Angkor International Hospital (Siem Reap) did a CT-scan. Diagnosis was made by Bangkok Hospital (based on RAIH's scan).
Any suggestions regarding transport (by road since flying isn't an option atm).
Does the patient has to present him/herself at the immigration booth or are the any alternative solutions? (with or without extra fee)
Won't monitor this thread on an hourly base but will defo come back to anyone who has remarks or additional questions.
Thank you in advance!

Taxi- SR to Poi Pet, Taxi to Bangkok ( its not the ideal border to use but the closest to SR/Bangkok
A "helper" will assist with immigration on the Cambodian side, Thai side he will need walk up the stairs and get stamped in although i am sure they Might work out something for you, just ask
A 30 day visa exempt entry (free) or a 60 day tourist visa from PP ( agent in SR charges $80-90) takes 4-6 business days
Both can be extended, extension for medical reasons are handled on a case by case basis but if he is in the hospital that's no problem
otherwise look into the new 1 year medical visa , https://medex.co.th/thailand-medical-visa
Bumrungrad International Hospital 5 star all the way
Sikarin Hospital best
BNH Hospital. BNH (Bangkok Nursing Home) is very good and less Baht
Bangkok Christian Hospital very good and affordable

AS Phuket said the hospital can usually take care of the he medical extension - for a fee, but they do everything for you without the usual hassle
I recommended Samitivej in Bangkok. Best hospital I've ever seen.

PR and Logos. Great. Thx for your contributions.
Trip will be organized through Poipet border crossing (I know...).
Only not sure about the choice of the hospital yet.
Patient is diagnosed with a glioma and is suffering epileptic attacks (every hour). The reason for transferring him to BKK is to get him stabilized prior to moving him overseas to get the real cause solved.

Considering Bank Hospital (among others).

avoid this one
"The Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital in Bangkok announced on its Facebook page yesterday (Friday) that all its hospital beds in its intensive care unit (ICU) and in-patient department (IPD) are fully occupied by COVID-19 patients."
BNH and Bangkok Christian are both good value

Thank you Phuket2006. Will avoid the above-mentioned one.
Small typo in my previous post: considering Bangkok Hospital (since they also analyzed his CT-scan and diagnosed the issue).
Will dive into BNH's and Bangkok Christian's websites too.
Thanks.

Out of interest; can Khmer citizens cross a Thai landborder more than twice a year?
Still the same rule for 'farangs'?

Samitivej is incredible. Mrs logos had her first baby there exactly a year ago and the following ones will be there as well. I had corrective eye surgery to get rid of glasses. Been a couple of times at their excellent dentiste département. Father in law arriving in BKK next week for a check up and possible prostate complications.
Plenty of japanese, Koreans and farang among the patients. Cheaper than in Europe.
