Back on topic, I worked with a lot of top Khmer lawyers in Phnom Penh. I can absolutely confirm that the asking price of a bribe to be admitted to the local Bar Association starts at $50k. It's not for no reason that the International Bar Association scathingly called the Cambodian Bar Association hopelessly corrupt.
Have you actually met any foreign lawyers that have worked for Cambodian law firms?
I can't personally think of anything more immoral than what they get up to.
